We appreciate all of our guests are coming to Montana to experience the “ranch experience”. Our staff is committed to offering you as much varied riding and experiences as the times of year allow. We are also aware that many of you appreciate the opportunity to participate in some “off-ranch” activities available at additional cost. Please find the following list of a few of these activities and the surcharges associated with them.
YELLOWSTONE PARK
- Travel through Cooke City (northeast entrance) along the Beartooth Highway (10,554 ft)
- Visit Tower Junction (Roosevelt Lodge)
- BBQ Lunch in Yellowstone
- Stop by the Upper and Lower Falls through Dunraven Pass to Canyon Junction
- Visit Geyser Basin/Firehole Basin and Old Faithful
- Pass through East Entrance on the way to Cody, WY
- This is a full day excursion leaving early in the morning and arriving home for dinner
THERMOPOLIS MINERAL SPA/CODY NITE RODEO
- Travel through Greybull, WY to Thermopolis
- Entry into Mineral Spa (indoor and outdoor pools/hottubs, steam room & sauna)
- BBQ Lunch in Mineral Park (included in above price)
- Visit to Meeteetse (old western town) and the Kirwin Ghost Town
- Travel back to Cody for the afternoon (Buffalo Bill Historical Museum, Harry Jackson Art Studios, shopping at Corral West and along Main Street)
- Dinner at Irma’s Buffalo Bill Dining Room (not included in above price)
- Ticket to Cody Nite Rodeo ( not includes in above price)
- This is a full day excursion leaving early in the morning and arriving home after the rodeo. Highly recommended for the day following a hard ride to sooth your sore spots.
NOTE: Once a week we usually travel down to the Cody Nite Rodeo with the ticket and dinner being extra charges.
CUSTER BATTLEFIELD
- Travel to Chief Plenty Coup Museum through Pryor
- Entry into Custer Battlefield and Museum
- Lunch of Indian Tacos at the Indian Trading Post
- Shopping in Billings on the way home
- Leaving after breakfast in the morning, you’ll be home late in the afternoon
WILD HORSE RANGE/FRANNIE’S TACK SHOP
- Visit the Wild Horse Range Museum in Lovell, WY
- Travel through the Wild Horse Range to Devil’s Lookout
- BBQ Lunch at Barry’s Landing and Boat Launch
- Visit Caroline Lockhart ranch
- Stop at Frannie’s Tack Shop on the way back to the ranch
- Leave after breakfast for Lovell and return sometime late in the afternoon
COOKE CITY – RED LODGE SHOPPING/SIGHTSEEING
- Bridger to Cooke City via the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway
- Browse through Cooke City followed by BBQ Lunch at Cooke City
- Travel to Red Lodge via the Beartooth Highway (described as the prettiest drive in the country)
- Shop and browse around Red Lodge before heading back to the ranch
- Leave after breakfast and return sometime late in the afternoon
